Free, before you decide
A free preview
Every portrait and every restoration comes back as one watermarked preview of your photograph, so you judge the likeness before anything is paid.
One free preview a day
Every generation costs us real money, so each visitor gets one free preview per day — one photo in one style. Choose the photo and the style with care. A generation that fails does not use up the day. A purchase adds another free preview the same day, so buying one portrait lets you paint a second.
No account
There is nothing to sign up for. Your work lives at a private link for 48 hours from upload; email it to yourself if you want to come back to it from another device.

Made in 3–5 business days, delivered in about 2–5 more. Shipping included.
Sizes are offered to match your picture’s shape. A painted portrait is always 4:5, so it is offered 20×25, 40×50 or 60×75 cm on gallery canvas and 20×25 or 40×50 cm framed, and nothing else. A restored photograph keeps its own proportions, which is what the other families are for. Framed canvas follows the same rule, in three finishes: Black, Dark brown, Natural wood.
Prices shown in EUR. Visitors in the UK, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore and Korea are charged in GBP or USD at the checkout price shown on the preview page.
What you are buying
A digital portrait is a watermark-free JPEG at 2048 × 2560 pixels, yours to keep, print and use commercially. The free preview is watermarked and low resolution, with 400 px of detail on the long edge. Your watermark-free restoration is delivered at the resolution the restoration model produces, about 4 megapixels, and is enlarged separately for canvas prints; the exact download dimensions and any restoration crop are shown beside your preview before payment. Only print sizes that keep the combined restoration and print crop within 6.5% of the original upload are offered. Pixel dimensions do not guarantee newly recovered detail.
A print purchase includes the digital file. Canvas is gallery-wrapped on a wooden stretcher; framed canvas arrives ready to hang. Production takes about three to five business days before shipping; allow two to three weeks.
Payment goes through Stripe. Card details never touch this site.

Shipping and returns
Is shipping included in the print price?
Yes, to all 35 countries the checkout ships to, framed canvas included. There are no fuel surcharges and no remote-area fees. Gelato produces the print at the facility nearest the delivery address in 3–5 business days; allow two to three weeks. Every print order also includes the watermark-free digital file at no extra cost.
Can I return a canvas I ordered?
A print is made to order from your own photograph, so the statutory 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to it. We offer a voluntary return anyway: write to us within 14 days of delivery and we will confirm in writing where to send it. Please do not post anything back before you hear from us — no return address is published on this site. It has to arrive in its original packaging and in resaleable condition, return postage is yours, and we refund the item once it does. A damaged print is replaced free, with no return needed.
The refund policy has the rest, and the FAQ answers the questions about making one.
